We worship together at 10:30 each Sunday morning.
Worship – it touches each of us in unique ways. It connects us to God. It opens our hearts to God’s Spirit. It encourages us to be like Jesus Christ. It allows us to hold the Bible in one hand and the newspaper (or internet) in the other and see how each reveals God’s will.
Our worship will often offer something for every one of us.
Some of us love the classical “church-y” music. Others enjoy today’s beat with meaningful words. We have different expectations about communion and scripture translations and songs. Some are visual people, enjoying the images of worship while others are more meditative.
People in our worship come from many different church backgrounds, and so our worship tries to capture a little bit of the familiar for all of us.
Our worship is a joy-filled experience. We’re probably going to laugh at some point every time we worship. But we’ll also enjoy quiet time, songs that are old standards and others that are fresh off the presses. We pray for each other, for the world, and for God’s love. We always end worship by connecting the entire congregation before we depart to serve. The morning messages deal with the issues that we find in our daily lives. We use projection screens to bring our words to life, but we don’t overwhelm our senses.
Join us as we gather in the most important hour of the week – the time to connect with our Lord and to re-charge our lives for the journey.
Our music ministry is led by our organist, Margo C. Lazzerini and choir director, Judy Gerlach, supplemented by talented volunteer organists, pianists, choir members, vocal soloists, and handbell ringers.
Both Margo and Judy bring a wealth of music experience to our worship, each being music educators with extensive church involvement. We welcome seasonal members of the choir who add so much to our fellwoship and choral selections.
