In our congregation…

Lending Library

Our library is well stocked with up to date best sellers as well as favorite oldies. Also on our shelves are many books by theological authors. All are available for the reading pleasure of members or others using the building.

Caring Friends

A special group of our members who keep in touch with those who are homebound  so they know they are not forgotten by the congregation. We care!

Adult faith study groups

Throughout the year numerous study groups are offered to deepen our faith. Bible studies, contemporary theological searches, studies for understanding issues of the world and many other offerings are available and led by our members.

Women’s ministries

All women of the church are considered to be a part of the fellowship enjoyed by women gathering together. Monthly meetings include lunch, spiritual renewal, speakers from the community and searching how we can better serve the church and community. Also are monthly “lunches out” and gatherings to talk about our favorite books.

Senior Singles Fellowship

Companionship and fellowship is the goal of this group. A monthly gathering is held for senior singles, usually including dinner out followed by some form of entertainment.

Fellowship and fun activities

Whether it is pot-luck meals, picnics, theater groups or community special trips and other interesting gatherings, we like to be together! We get to know each other better in these events.

Community concerts

Spiritual and contemporary musical specials for the entire community are offered throughout the year in our sanctuary as it transformed into an intimate concert hall.

Health Ministry events

Flu shot clinics and health related informational gatherings are provided for the community throughout the year.

In our community….

Good Samaritans
Our members volunteer hours, financial support and food for one of the many community food pantries, assisting county residents in meeting the emergency crises of life…

Guardian-Ad-Litem

Our “Kids In Crisis” program provides needed assistance in the form of clothing, school supplies or other essentials to children involved in the court system and some of our members serve as guardians for children facing court issues.

For the Love of Kids

A community organization that shares compassion with those in financial stress through annual activities including a Holiday dinner complete with Santa Claus and gifts for children.  We are a gift giving supporter.

Back to School projects
           
Our congregation believes in the children of our public school system and supports them with special back to school supply collections.  We are also involved in the schools with volunteers and mentors. Some of our favorite people are teachers!

Meeting place for 12-Step Groups

We believe in the dignity and value of all people, so we welcome the use of our building by several 12-Step groups throughout the week.
