Who we are…
Our congregation has been an active participant in the life of Charlotte County for nearly 25 years. We are a wonderfully diverse group of people who share a vision for ministry that includes a commitment to serving our community and developing people who want a spiritual relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
From the beginning of our history, we have been a church that affirms the ideal that Christians do not always have to agree to live together in a common faith. We are progressives and traditionalists, we are diverse socially, economically, politically, and even spiritually, but our common bond is that we engage both the heart and the mind in knowing and experiencing God’s love.
We have built a Habitat home and we began a back to school supply project. We support homeless women and children and we assist families who need emergency food and utility aid.
We worship together and we have fun together. We teach and learn our faith, but we also support our schools, their teachers, students and staff. We are, as some have said, a “beautiful…mix of God's creatures.”
Who are our leaders…..
Our congregation has been led since 1988 by our pastor, Rev. Bill Klossner. Be sure you visit the page with his special welcome to you.
Our true leaders in this congregation are those who step forward with a passion of faith to serve in our various ministries – both in our church and in our community
What is the United Church of Christ…..
We are a member congregation of the United Church of Christ, and active in the Florida Conference UCC. The United Church of Christ is as historic as the Pilgrims who traveled on the Mayflower and as contemporary as the merger that created the church only 50 years ago.
